Do We Know What Beyoncé Eats?

Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s curves are all in the correct places, but her flawless body certainly doesn’t come cheap. Although Beyoncé has gained notoriety for her extreme diets and training regimens, we know that the Queen still enjoys going out to restaurants.

As dedicated BeyHives, we were curious as to whether or not the megastar really keeps a bottle of hot sauce in her purse, and if so, whether or not it is the secret ingredient to her killer body, and whether or not we can get in shape by mimicking her diet (minus those unhealthy crash diets, though).

What Beyoncé Eats in a Day

Diets and Plant-Based Meals

The Coachella Diet

After giving birth to her twins, Rumi and Sir, Beyoncé had to quickly shift the baby fat to play as the main act at Coachella. She did this by eating only plant-based foods like fresh fruits and vegetables and heart-healthy avocados.

Sasha Fierce gave up sweets, bread, meat, and dairy in order to lose weight, as she explains in the documentary Homecoming.

For 44 days, she ate nothing but plant-based foods such fruits, vegetables, legumes, nutritious grains, and nuts, which is different from a standard plant-based diet.

Diet Doc claims that the Beychella diet, for want of a better term, is quite similar to the vegan ketogenic diet.

List of Foods:

  • Oats, quinoa, and buckwheat are all excellent grain options.
  • Chickpeas, kidney beans, and other beans and legumes.
  • Hemp seeds, chia seeds, and other seeds
  • veggies that don’t include starch, such as brussels sprouts, zucchini, and broccoli
  • avocados, berries, and other healthy fruits

The 22 Day Diet

She has tried veganism before, but not in 2018. In 2013, Beyoncé and Jay-Z made public their 22-day vegan diet, during which they consumed only plant-based cuisine including greens, fruits, and even vegan pizza.

The artist remarked, “The advantages of a plant-based diet need to be acknowledged,” in reference to her advocacy for healthy eating. Loving oneself more fully entails prioritising our health and well-being via improved nutrition and dietary decisions.

List of Foods:

Vegetables with leaves, such as kale, spinach, and beet greens

Some additional vegetables include: maize, Portobello mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and asparagus.

Various kinds of ripe, fresh berries

Other examples of fruit include the avocado, apple, and apricot.

Foods made from whole grains

Vegetarian and vegan pie

Penne pasta with a vegan Sloppy Joe sauce

Gluten-free mac n’ cheese

Protein powder and bars from 22 Days Nutrition

The Master Cleanse

Beyoncé went on the Master Cleanse diet to get in shape for her part in Dreamgirls, despite the fact that malnutrition is a risk of crash diets (also known as the Lemonade diet).

For 14 days, she basically subsisted on a concoction of water, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper.

Even though she wanted to lose weight and change her appearance, the Lemonade singer said she was always hungry and vowed never to do it again. As someone who enjoys eating, this was a challenge for me. The people surrounding me were all munching on Krispy Kreme donuts. I did it, and I was grumpy about it, but I ended up losing weight.

Fluids List:

Four times daily, salt water.

One cup of herbal laxative tea before bedtime.

Drink lemonade (6-12 times a day) made with fresh lemon or lime juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water.

WebMD warns that the Master Cleanse may not be as healthful as it seems.

General Meals

Beyonce has tried veganism and crash diets, but now she says, “Now, you know, I still eat meat. It’s a balancing act, for sure, but I’m more selective than I used to be…”

Breakfast for Beyoncé often consists of a vegetable smoothie, scrambled egg whites, or whole-grain cereal with low-fat milk.

She eats a lot of fish and veggies for lunch and supper, but no red meat, and she switches out grains and pasta for quinoa. On Instagram, the best-selling female musician has professed her fondness for pita bread and avocado toast.

Kale, cucumber, carrots, nori sheets, cilantro, basil, scallions, and toasted almonds are just some of the healthy components in her go-to salad from Café Gratitude. Tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, sesame oil, and garlic are common toppings for this.

Arugula, red quinoa, cantaloupe, and slivered almonds are a popular crunchy salad that is dressed with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup.

List of foods:

  • Whites of eggs scrambled
  • Completely digested, nutrient-rich, and delicious
  • Pureed vegetables
  • Quinoa \sFish \sVegetables
  • Bammy \sSalads
  • Soups with pita bread

Cheat Meals

Even Queen B will sometimes indulge in the ‘unhealthy’ delicacies she enjoys. During an interview with Cosmopolitan, she said that spaghetti and sandwiches are her specialties.

Beyoncé has been quite open about the fact that she is a real gourmet who enjoys her weekly cheat meals. “I usually treat myself to one meal on Sundays when I can have anything I want,” she stated in an interview with Shape. Typically, I’ll indulge on pizza since it’s one of my favourite foods.

We’ve seen her develop a lifelong obsession with In-N-Out burgers and spicy pizza topped with jalapeos and additional tomato sauce.

Chicken, red beans, rice, and cornbread are among Queen Bey’s favourite soul cuisine dishes, among others. Sundays are her favourite day to eat comfort food like mac and cheese and other carb-heavy dishes.

Beyoncé follows a low-carb diet on the regular, but she allows herself one cheat meal every week (unlike the rest of us, who allow ourselves cheat meals every day) to eat anything she wants.

List of foods:

  • Queen B isn’t afraid to indulge in the ‘unhealthy’ meals she enjoys every once in a while. She told Cosmopolitan that spaghetti and sandwiches are her go-to foods during an interview.
  • Beyoncé has said that she is a gourmet who enjoys indulging in cheat meals once a week. She remarked, “I usually treat myself to one meal on Sundays when I can have anything I want,” in an interview with Shape. My go-to guilty pleasure food is pizza.
  • Over the years, we’ve seen her undying devotion to In-N-Out burgers and pizzas loaded with jalapeos and additional tomato sauce.
  • Queen Bey enjoys traditional soul cuisine including chicken, red beans, rice, and cornbread in addition to her typical junk diet. She’s a big fan of carb-heavy Sunday dinners like mac and cheese.
  • Beyoncé follows a healthy, low-carb diet on the regular, but she allows herself one cheat meal each week (not per day, like the rest of us!) to indulge in the foods she really enjoys.

Snacks

Mrs. Carter isn’t a huge diva, but she does have one request: no junk food backstage. Instead, she requires a glass dish of (luxury!) almonds and oatcakes.

She is not the kind to stock her pantry with junk food. Bey will have some nutritious almonds, an apple, or a protein bar if she becomes hungry between meals.

Beyoncé also enjoys munching on hand-carved ice balls to help her throat recover after performances (normal!).
